I completed a B.A. in philosophy, a B.S. in psychology, and minored in economics at National Chengchi University in 2011. I am interested in decision making under social interaction. I would like to investigate the cognitive mechanisms and neural correlates underlying social behaviors. I am studying cognitive neuroscience at UCL and doing my MSc project under the co-supervision of Tali Sharot and Ivo Vlaev. We would like to demonstrate how expectations of pleasure and purpose affect one’s choices. Moreover, we will use fMRI to explore the brain regions which are related to these two dimensions and explain how it works to reach a final decision.
