We have found that social influence changes the neuronal representation of memory to a surprising extent (joint work with Yadin Dudai and Micah Edelson at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.weizmann.org.uk\/?node=208\" target=\"_blank\">Weizmann Institute of Science<\/a>). Specifically, long-lasting, socially-induced memory alterations are predicted by a unique brain signature of enhanced amygdala activity and amygdala-hippocampus connectivity (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\/affective-brain\/documents\/Publications\/Edelson_Science\" target=\"_blank\">Edelson et al., 2011<\/a>).
