Sharon is a Cognitive and Decision Sciences MSc student at UCL.
Her research interests focus on drawing on theory and methods from cognitive
neuroscience, machine learning and behavioural economics to explore the influence of
affect and motivation on learning, decision-making and cognitive control.
In particular, she is interested in the intersection between artificial intelligence, behaviour
change and mental health: how understanding the neural bases of affect, motivation,
learning and decision-making can improve our understanding of the neuroscience of well-
being, as well as inform the development of autonomous agents.
Before her MSc at UCL, Sharon has experience in industry working in Data Science and AI.
She holds a BA Honours in Economics and an MSc in Data Science.
