My research interests mainly center around the cognitive processes that skew our beliefs towards desirability and the presumed benefits of this skew. My PhD work modeled the phenomenon using a repeated reward-based decision-making paradigm, and aimed to situate it in the dual-process framework of decision-making. I now aim to employ computational modeling approaches to more precisely articulate and identify the cognitive and neural processes that underlie it.
